OPEL FRONTERA 2024 THE BIG RETURN OF FRONTERA 20 YEARS LATER

At the beginning of the 90s, Opel launched the Frontera, a real 4×4 that the German manufacturer will produce until 2004. 20 years later, the Frontera is back and will succeed the Crossland by positioning itself between the Mokka and the Grandland.

We thought we would never see it again, but the Frontera will return in the guise of a small SUV powered by mild hybrid engines and also in a 100% electric version. The new generation Frontera adopts the design of the German brand’s latest offerings with this front end featuring a black visor called the Vizor. The Opel Frontera draws its technical base from within the Stellantis group by taking the platform of the Fiat 600 and the Jeep Avenger, which allows it to receive petrol and hybrid engines as well as a 100% electric engine. In the cockpit, the Frontera is actually an Opel with a black piece called the Pure Panel which has two screens, one for the dashboard and the other for infotainment. Frontera also stands out with a trunk volume of 460 liters, which is more than generous for the category.
