The European version of the Korean EV SUV has been launched

BOXY SHAPES The front of the new EV9 is characterized by simple, clean lines and surfaces. The EV9’s futuristic appearance is emphasized by the evolution of the characteristic ”Tiger Face”.. The new face of the Tiger Digital is distinguished by two clusters of solid cube-shaped lamps flanking each lamp. Vertical headlights and daytime running lights extend over the front fenders. The side view of the EV9 shows a profile inspired by the geometric features provided for aerodynamic efficiency. The triangular shapes of the fenders and the pronounced wheel arches combine with the pull-out door handles and together with the raised roof create a powerful impression. Finally, the back refers to the frontand narrow headlights that seem to blend into the design of the car.

MODERATE COMFORT Inside, Kia designers have prioritized comfort and space. Thanks to the standard E-GMP platform similar to the EV6, on the EV9 the floor is full and the back space is very large! Once inside, all three rows of seats feel like a true luxury living room. The car is offered in a six- or seven-seat configuration. If you choose the first, the second row has swivel seats that can turn 180 °, creating a private, comfortable and welcoming lounge.. Behind the steering wheel, the floating panoramic instrument panel has two 12.3-inch touchscreens and a 5-inch display.

ELECTRIC GIANT The car is 5.01 meters long and 1.980 meters wide and 1.755 meters tall. The wheel is instead of 3.1 meters. The battery installed inside the E-GMP platform is 99.8 kWh and features a V 800 fast charging architecture. The Kia EV9 is offered in rear-wheel drive and 4×4. The all-wheel drive variant has an additional front-mounted electric motor, which increases system output to 358 hp. and 600 Nm (0-100 km / h in 6 seconds). DROP CHARGE IN A YEAR The declared range of the EV9 varies between 541 kilometers for 2WD and around 500 for 4WD. Fast charging on HPC columns allows you to recover about 240 km in just 15 minutes. Added to this are additional functions provided by Vehicle-to-Load (V2L – external equipment recovery). In the future, it will also be possible to use Vehicle-to-Grid, feeding electricity into the private/public grid using the kWh stored in the EV9 battery (here the new EV9 air conditioning system).
