This engine, model number BF350, was designed by Honda Marine. It is designed for boats and yachts over 7.6m in length, offering smooth power and “excellent fuel efficiency”, according to the makers.

The 5.0-liter engine produces 350 hp and uses 86 octane unleaded gasoline. It also uses Honda’s Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control (VTEC) system, which uses a smooth cam profile at low revs and a high-performance cam profile. . high speed. Honda has also introduced the Boosted Low Speed ​​​​​​​​​​Torque (BLAST) system, which accelerates the ignition time when the accelerator pedal is fully depressed.

Several technologies have also been developed to improve fuel efficiency.
