FORCHHEIM. From Thursday to Friday, unknown persons stole an Audi Q7 from Buckenhofener Strasse in Forchheim. Investigators from Kripo Bamberg are looking for witnesses to the robbery.

Car thieves stole a dark gray Audi Q7 with registration number FO-NH 2310 between 8pm and 8am. Again the car had a keyless entry system. The thieves amplified the car key signal at the owner’s home and were able to unlock the car and leave without violence.

Detectives from Bamberg are appealing for witnesses to the robbery. If you have made any suspicious observations, please contact the Bamberg criminal police on the phone number. 0951/9129-491.

New advice from police headquarters in Upper Franconia:

  • Keep your radio key as far away from the car as possible.
  • It is best to protect the key in a suitable aluminum container.
  • If possible, turn off the go keyless system immediately.
