The new Citroën Berlingo with petrol and diesel engines is returning to the brand’s range in the UK. Starting in late 2020, customers had the option to order an electric-only version.
At the end of 2020, Citroën announced that the passenger version of the Berlingo will only be available as a fully electric vehicle. To meet the high demand of customers in the UK, the brand is introducing combustion variants of its combi car. Customers can now order. Production will begin in May 2023.
The car is only available in size “M”, which is 4.4 m long and 1.90 m long. The turning radius is 10.8 meters. Citroën Berlingo “M” can easily accommodate up to five adults. ë-Berlingo Electric models will continue to be available in M or XL variants. The latter can accommodate up to seven adults thanks to the third row of folding and removable seats.

The car is available in two trim levels: “Feel” and “Flair XTR”. As standard, both versions feature Citroen’s signature style Airbump, an 8-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, DAB radio, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity and a large metal mesh headrest behind the second row of seats.
Both variants also have a range of safety and driver assistance systems as part of Citroen’s safety package. This includes Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Emergency Braking, Cruise Control and Speed Limit, Speed Limit Detection with recommendations and Driver Attention Alert. Both versions also feature the Citroën Connect Box Emergency and Assistance system, which enables the driver to contact a trained advisor in the event of an accident or breakdown.
The Citroen Berlingo with the PureTech 110 engine and 6-speed manual transmission costs £25,590 in the UK, while the 100hp diesel model costs £25,465. The 130 hp diesel costs £27,580.
