Lexus LBX, a crossover that opens a new era for the brand: compact, technological and premium.

It’s called LBX and it’s a new compact crossover from Lexus, the smallest model ever (4 meters and 19 centimeters long). The real definition of “status quo”: with the characteristics of a premium car and great customization possibilities, thanks to the so-called “Atmospheres”, able to meet the needs and expectations of customers. Let’s start with the style: a new brand identity that starts from the muscular and powerful front, with a new interpretation of the hourglass grille, a unique signature of the Japanese company. In the cockpit, large and with excellent visibility, everything revolves around the driver. It’s a concept beloved by Lexus and is based on Tazuma, a Japanese word that refers to the correct use of the reins by the rider to control the horse. In fact, all the controls are accessible, to reduce discomfort to a minimum, for the benefit of safety. The multimedia screen is integrated with the latest information systems of the new generation, including the on-board assistant: “Hey, Lexus!” We are in a car that is very pleasant to drive. The seats are comfortable, well finished and a good job has been done on soundproofing the passenger compartment. Under the hood, as per Lexus tradition, there is a hybrid powertrain. 1,500 and 136 HP. Three cylinder engine, light and therefore very efficient. The system uses the maximum power of the electric motor and the hybrid battery to provide a quick response on restart and a feeling of continuous acceleration. Compared to previous hybrid systems, the response has increased by about 30%. On the Lexus LBX there is also a very interesting function that predicts the driver’s behavior and road and traffic conditions to maximize the charge of the hybrid battery, based on the actual driving conditions. Usually for the benefit of consumption and production.
