The new Citroen C3 is coming. The release date, new engine and equipment levels have been announced French.pl

Citroën has revealed the release date for the new C3. The car will be presented soon and it is a long-awaited PREMIERE, because the current model of C3 is from 2016, so it was produced for seven years.

The latest version of the Citroën C3 will make its debut in two weeks. The main focus of the manufacturer will be to present a 100% electric version, which will be the first electric car for EUR 25,000 in the Stellantis group. This was achieved by using a slightly smaller battery and simplifying the vehicle’s design. The sum of small changes adds up to a final product that evokes many emotions.

The new Citroen C3 will be different from the version that we had the opportunity to test in Brazil. Obviously, the differences will be about appearance, at least in terms of finish and final style, and there will also be better equipment. We should also see three levels of reduction and at least three new drivers:

new electric motor,
new mHEV 100 HP hybrid engine,
maybe the new mHEV 136 HP hybrid engine,

These last two drives have already been shown for the first time in Peugeot, including: in the models 408, 3008 (136 HP version) and 208 (100 and 136 HP mHEV). In addition, the C3 should also receive a classic combustion engine with a power of 82 HP, available at least during the pre-sale period. There will be no diesel.

The premiere of the new generation 4 Citroën C3 is scheduled for October 17.
