Last year, the Louvre special edition DS 7 Crossback appeared on the market and was so popular that the DS Automobiles brand decided to bring the car back to its showrooms. A smaller model, the DS 3 Crossback Louvre, has also joined the artistic offer.

The DS Automobiles brand has been a partner of the Louvre since its inception in 2014. In 2020, the partnership resulted in a special edition DS 7 Crossback, bearing the name of the famous museum. The Louvre version of the SUV was very popular, so the French brand again added the car to its portfolio, but this is not the only change in the lineup. The DS 3 Crossback Louvre also debuted on the French market.

Black Onyx appears on the radiator grille, DS Wings and the rear spoiler. The central part of the mask is decorated with a pyramid motif, which is a nod to the famous structure in the courtyard of the Louvre. The same decoration can be seen on the Luxor 18-inch rims, mirror caps and inside the interior.

“A Day at the Louvre”

The special series DS 3 Crossback received an Opera interior finished with black Nappa leather upholstery and pearl thread. There are the usual Louvre markings on the dashboard and the gloss black gear lever. With the “One Day at the Louvre” feature, the 10.3-inch infotainment screen displays 182 works of art from the museum.

The new DS 3 Crossback Louvre is offered with a 155 HP PureTech petrol engine or a 130 HP BlueHDi diesel engine. An electric version of the E-Tense with 136 HP is also available. The special edition of the crossover costs in France from EUR 39,700 (approx. PLN 182,000).

DS 7 Crossback: a new special series for the Louvre

The DS 7 Crossback Louvre is the second attempt at a special edition with a Parisian museum on the back. In the first case, only 1,500 copies of the SUV were built. Apparently, customers have already bought all the cars, because the brand is bringing back the model for sale. The Louvre Edition is decorated with black trim, 20-inch Alexandria rims and special badging.

The pyramid pattern is subtly featured in a three-dimensional image on the air vents, dashboard and glove compartment lid. A compact SUV, as a small model, has a function that allows you to see the famous works of the museum. Displays will be displayed on a 12-inch touch screen.

The DS 7 Crossback in the Louvre version can be ordered with a 180 HP petrol engine and in two hybrid versions with 225 HP or 300 HP. The base price is 55,500 euros (254 thousand).
