Rüsselsheim, February 2024 – FIAT Professional business partners are now accepting orders for the new Fiat E-Ducato in glossy, partially illuminated and paper panel variants. The electric transporter now delivers 200 kW of power (equivalent to 270 hp) – more than double that of its predecessor. The larger battery increases the range to 424 km (according to the WLTP method*). Depending on the body version, there is a choice of two lengths and two body lengths. Payload without a driver is up to 1,385 kg, depending on equipment. Depending on the model variant, the new Fiat E-Ducato can load up to 17 cubic meters and tow trailers weighing up to 2,400 kg. Prices start at 54,800 euros (net).

The drive and charging system of the new Fiat E-Ducato

The fully electric drivetrain of the new Fiat E-Ducato is more powerful than the previous model. With 200 kW (270 hp) and a maximum torque of over 400 Newton meters, the supercar packs a powerful punch even when fully loaded and can cruise the road at up to 130 km/h. The typical range is up to 424 km (according to the WLTP method*), which makes the new Fiat E-Ducato more versatile, even on long journeys.

The battery now has a capacity of 110 kWh. A three-phase 11 kW AC charger is on board as standard. Fast charging with up to 150 kW of direct current is also possible at charging stations equipped with the appropriate equipment. To charge the battery from empty to 80 percent, a break of only 55 minutes is necessary.

The new Fiat E-Ducato is powered by automatic transmission through the front wheels. The system offers three driving modes: ECO is designed for maximum. The engine power is then limited to 120 kW and the maximum speed is limited to 90 km / h. NORMAL provides 160 kW and POWER position provides maximum power. At the same time, the maximum torque and the response of the accelerator pedal are adjusted.

To make the most of stopping power, the recovery on the new Fiat E-Ducato can be changed in four stages using the steering wheel paddles. The level ranges from what is called cruising, where the car rolls well and no longer does, to the extreme recovery mode, where a clear braking effect can be felt.

Typical equipment of the rich

The standard equipment of the new Fiat E-Ducato has been extended compared to the versions of the model with a turbodiesel engine. Standard features include automatic climate control, an electric parking brake and a Keyless Entry&Go system. The center console behind the steering wheel is designed as a full color digital TFT display with a screen diagonal of 7.0 inches (17.8 cm). The infotainment system with integrated navigation system is based on a 10.0 cm (25.4 in) diameter touch screen. The radio also receives digital channels (DAB). Compatible devices can be connected wirelessly using Bluetooth®. The infotainment system can be operated using the buttons on the steering wheel.

Standard equipment of the new Fiat E-Ducato also includes electric power steering, tire pressure sensor, heated exterior mirrors, electric windows, lumbar support on the driver’s seat, double passenger seat with a folding table function on the left and a center armrest. . In addition to the driver’s airbag, an airbag designed for two passengers on the right side, a rear camera and rear parking assist, additional electronic driver assistance systems ensure safety. These include emergency brake control, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, drowsiness warning and intelligent cruise control. Trailer stability control, crosswind assist, rollover avoidance, anti-skid control, hill start assist, adaptive load control and post-collision braking are also implemented via electronic stability control. The latter automatically activates the brakes in the event of a serious collision to reduce the consequences of an accident in the unlikely event of an incapacitated person behind the wheel. The integration of the new telematics box enables the use of services from the range of FIAT Professional Connected Services.

Additional equipment features are available as options or through pre-configured packages. The software includes, among other things, a digital rearview mirror, 360-degree parking sensors, a 220-volt socket in the center console, power folding exterior mirrors and a wireless charging station for compatible smartphones. Other electronic driver assistance systems can also be ordered, which enable autonomous driving at level 2 with the new Fiat E-Ducato.

Double height, double height, modern design

The new Fiat E-Ducato can be identified by a new design of the front bumper and radiator grill, aerodynamically improved exterior mirrors and new logos on the light alloy rims and wheel covers. In the interior, the seats have been modified in detail, the steering wheel now has a new FIAT logo.

You can choose from sheet metal, glazed and partially glazed variants for the new Fiat E-Ducato panel van. Two L3 and L4 lengths are available (5,998 and 6,363 mm respectively, featured only in the L3 section). The panel car is available in two lengths: H2 (2,524 mm) and L3 (2,764 mm), only two other versions for the H2 length. The wheelbase is always 4,035 millimeters.

With a total permissible weight of 3.5 or 4.25 tons, the volume of the loading space measures between 13 and 17 cubic meters. If necessary, the new Fiat E-Ducato will tow braked trailers weighing up to 2,400 kg.
