New 4×4 drive with 360 HP in the luxury DS 7 Crossback

Next month, a refreshed version of the DS 7 Crossback will hit the market. This is the most popular model of the DS Automobiles brand. The luxury SUV will receive a more powerful 4×4 hybrid. The DS 7 is selling better in Europe than the Jaguar and the French clearly want to strengthen their position.

The debut of the updated DS 7 Crossback, which is scheduled for the coming weeks, is not only a new look but also a new car. The most powerful version will be a rechargeable hybrid (PHEV) with a power of 360 HP and a four-wheel drive. It combines a combustion engine with two electric motors, one is placed in front with a power of 110 HP and 320 Nm of high torque, while on the rear axle there is an engine with a power of 113 HP and 166 Nm.

Where are the DS Automobiles showrooms in Poland?

A slightly weaker version with a system power of 250 HP will probably also be added to the engine lineup in the future. The hybrid drive with increased power will allow the DS 7 Crossback to accelerate to 100 km / h in less than 6 seconds.

DS Automobiles has found a very good formula for its car. Annual sales of the DS 7 Crossback in Europe remain at the level of 25,000 units, which makes this model the most popular car of the DS Automobiles brand. This is 1/3 of the sales rate of the BMW X3 or Mercedes GLC, but almost twice that of the Lexus NX and Jaguar F-Pace.

It seems that DS Automobiles would like to have more of this market.
