The new DS 7 without the 1.6 PureTech 180 HP engine

The price list and configuration of the new DS 7, the model that replaced the DS 7 Crossback, is now available on the Polish website of DS Automobiles. However, the new design, price and multimedia update are not all the changes that the manufacturer has made to the luxury SUV. The brand also took the engine. The last 1.6 PureTech 180 HP petrol engine has been withdrawn from the offer, but there is also a new one.

Since its launch, the compact SUV lineup has evolved significantly. The DS Automobiles brand is slowly phasing out engines that are not popular with customers or that are not “eco” and replacing them with hybrid versions. There are no petrol units in the DS 7 range, and there is only one item left in the diesel segment. With the introduction of the upgraded model, the 1.6 PureTech petrol engine with 180 HP was removed.

How much does the new DS 7 cost on base?

Last year, it was possible to order a DS 7 Crossback with a 1.2 PureTech engine with a power of 130 HP and a 225 HP 1.6 block, but this is not possible now. Interestingly, the DS Automobiles brand saved the last 1.5 BlueHDi diesel with 130 HP, which, together with an 8-speed automatic transmission, was at the top of the price list. In the basic version, the Bastille DS 7 costs PLN 199,900, so it is PLN 7,200 more expensive than its predecessor (compared to July 2022 prices).

The remaining variants are plug-in hybrid vehicles with 225 and 300 HP. There is also a pleasant surprise for customers who lacked power. On the successor version of the DS 7 Crossback is a 4 × 4 model with a power of 360 HP, for which in the La Premiere version we will pay PLN 344,000. zlotys.

At the price of PLN 199,900 we will receive the car with the body color Sapphire Blue. The remaining color versions require an additional payment of PLN 3,000 or PLN 4,000 if we want the White Pearl shade. As usual, DS Automobiles offers, among others: 2-zone climate control, a 12.3-inch touchscreen and 18-inch Vienna alloy wheels. 19’s were worth PLN 2,300.
