The Nissan Leaf probably has no future

With the Jani, Nissan presented one of the first electric cars and I would definitely classify that model as a pioneer. Nissan has updated the Leaf regularly, but the electric car is slowly becoming obsolete.

According to Automotive News, people are already preparing for the end. Although the Leaf is currently in high demand as electric cars are on the rise, it will end around 2025 and no successor to the Nissan Leaf is planned.

Electric SUV instead of the new Nissan Leaf

It is said that the model will not be used at all and no new Leaf will be launched. We heard last year that the “successor” would be an SUV, and this source says the same. The concept is already known.

Nissan “Chill-out”, which was presented in 2021 along with many concepts, replaces the Nissan Leaf. It’s a shame, because technically I think this decision is good, the Leaf can no longer match the current models, but there are already enough electric SUVs that I would like a successor to the Leaf.
