A breath of fresh air for 2023 from Porsche Club GT, which has already collected the first registrations for the fourth edition, further improving the high success format offered to many non-professional drivers with more and less experience. An exciting and at the same time informative one-man show featuring road and racing Porsches of all makes, models and ages provides an elegant calendar for the new racing season.

There are 6 appointments scheduled and from April all 5 of the main Italian races are involved, with confirmation of the great return of the Italian series to the Imola and Monza circuits, which was absent last year.

And that’s not all: The Porsche GT Club is also launching a partnership with the FX series that will lead to a one-off event organized by the Porsche Club Umbria and open to all members of the Italian and European Porsche Club held as part of the FX. Racing Weekend. Media coverage will include live broadcasts of all races on national channels and via the web, as well as specials and in-depth interviews.

The only race to be visited twice, the Misano World Circuit, will bring the best “première” of the Porsche Club GT in July with the GT World Challenge, the prestigious international championship that all major car manufacturers and Valentino. Rossi is also racing, and in November the grand finale of the championship and the Volunteer Festival.

All this always with the care of safely mixing the various groups of Porsches in the race with the drivers now through balance and priority to keep the budgets contained and accessible to everyone, even those who are just starting out. Always officially recognized by ACI Sport and presenting the exciting challenges of fast laps on a time attack model, the 2023 Porsche Club GT calendar reveals over 6 appointments starting with the inaugural round on 1-2 April at the Autodromo National of Monza.

This is followed by the Autodromo di Vallelunga (April 29-30), Imola (July 1-2) and Misano on July 15-16, as mentioned for the first time in the context of the GT World Challenge. After the summer break, the engines will start again at the Mugello Circuit on 9-10 September, while again Misano will conclude the season on November 11-12 with a special Porsche Club GT 2023 Festival with many dedicated initiatives.

Regarding the ranking structure, each category has its own rank and podium awards. In 2023, more minutes will be available for drivers to run on the track during each weekend, with practice sessions on Saturdays and races on Sundays. The protagonists will also be various racing and road models, including the historic ones, the Porsche 911 (thus including the 911 GT3 Cup), the Cayman and the Boxster.
