The presentation of the new Tesla Model 3 is almost here!

Tesla plans to show off its new Model 3 “Highland” during CEO Elon Musk’s visit to China on Thursday, according to sources reported by Bloomberg.

This classic sedan has been redesigned by Tesla for almost a year and will feature major updates in terms of infotainment, exterior design and interior design. The ‘Top House’ is said to be longer and sportier than its predecessor, with a sleeker interior. The presentation of the Tesla car coincides with Musk’s first visit to China in three years, where he met with several government officials. Although Musk has been absent from China for a long time, it is a strong market for Tesla, with most of its sales coming from domestic sales and direct shipments from its Giga factory in Shanghai.

Model 3 changes

Tesla’s Model 3 has been redesigned by the company for almost a year and is expected to feature major updates in terms of infotainment, exterior design and interior design. Posts from last year suggested the updates were due to be rolled out during the winter, but the COVID-19 pandemic may have affected the originally planned dates. On Thursday, October 15, Tesla plans to show the car to Musk during his visit to China and introduce it to the public in the near future.

Musk’s trip to China

This is Musk’s first visit to China in three years, and during his stay he met with several government officials. China has been a strong market for Tesla, which has made most of its sales there through domestic sales and direct shipments from its Giga factory in Shanghai. Analysts said Musk needed to talk to Chinese executives about Tesla’s expansion into China and that “could be an important step for Tesla to gain a stronger position in the Chinese auto market.”
