The world motorcycle association FIM now has its own MotoGP track

The world motorcycle association FIM will celebrate 120 years from 2024. To celebrate the anniversary, FIM has now composed its national anthem. After an unannounced debut at the opening of the FIM Intercontinental Games in Jerez, Spain, and then at the FIM Awards in Palma de Mallorca at the beginning of December, the association officially presented the track before Christmas.

The track represents the final chapter in the FIM’s rebranding process, which began twelve months earlier with the introduction of the new FIM logo. “The FIM logo and song will be an important part of the recognition and identity of FIM events in the future,” said an official statement from the FIM. “The internationally composed anthem reflects the many nationalities, disciplines, inclusivity and diversity as well as the pure enthusiasm within the global FIM family and will serve as a perfect acoustic reminder of the FIM’s values ​​and goals.”

The song was composed by the Italian Enzo Dalla Gassa, and the music comes from an orchestra from Bucharest, Romania. “I have been surrounded by engines since birth and adore everything that can be fast. This opportunity was pure magic for me,” says composer Enzo Dalla Gassa. “I am very grateful because the whole journey from composing this song to presenting it at the FIM Awards was my greatest experience the most in music so far. It was a great honor for me to compose this song for this famous sports association.”

Jorge Viegas, President of the FIM, was enthusiastic about the result: “The idea of ​​the FIM song came shortly after I joined the FIM many years ago, and I am very proud that I have brought this concept to the end. of the 120th anniversary it can finally put annual celebrations in action.
