The incident happened on Friday, October 21, before 23:00. According to the police officers driving the Lexus, the 18-year-old from Krzywda district was driving on the road in Gołaszyn. He suddenly went off the road and into a ditch, where he hit the ditch and then a concrete pillar..

– The force of the impact was so great that the electric traction pole broke in two. Fortunately, the 14-year-old and 17-year-old passengers of the car suffered minor injuries and their lives are not in danger. The uniforms revealed that the 18-year-old had recently passed his driving test and received his license three weeks ago. The young man told the police that the accident happened with an animal that ran on the road, and he, not wanting to hit it, got off the road – reports the press officer of the KPP Łuków employee. However, the official adds that the preliminary results of the police from Łuków road show that the 18-year-old Lexus driver was driving too fast and lost control of the car after leaving the corner towards the straight section of the road. According to them, the excessive speed of the car can be shown by the force with which the car hit the concrete tension pole, causing it to break.

Now the police, during the investigation, will keep the details and the real situation of the incident. They will check, among others, how fast the 18-year-old driving the Lexus was driving.
