The new Citroen C3 Aircross will “blow up” the Chinese. This will be another price hit from France.

Where did it come from? From Third World countries, where Citroen’s priority was to establish low production costs and, therefore, affordable prices. Like the smaller C3, the Aircross is also tuned to European needs – it has a more mature, budget-friendly style taken from the Ola concept, a completely different cabin, better finishes and gadgets that we won’t find in India or Brazil.

The French have not yet revealed the details, but they added information in the first pictures that they were able to fit three rows of seats in a car that is only 4.39 meters long (this is the so-called B-SUV segment) ! So the new Citroen C3 Aircross could be an unexpected competitor to the 7-seater Dacia Jogger, because it will probably play in the same price league.

What else do we know? Citroen has revealed that the C3 Aircross – as a sub-model on the Smart Car platform – it will be offered not only with the traditional 1.2 PureTech combustion engine, but also with a hybrid or electric vehicle. The first car show will take place this summer. It is worth following the trend, because we expect that this model will also surprise us with its price.
