VIDEO – 3,000 horsepower for this German-Italian supercar race!

There is a lot of talk about the Lamborghini Aventador’s replacement, the Revuelto. The Italian supercar, which has recently been converted into a hybrid, claims more than 1,000 horsepower. Facing it, the Ferrari SF90 sets itself up as a perfect rival, with its electric V8 also exceeding 1,000 horsepower. But how do these two missiles compare to the Porsche 918 Spyder, one of the most popular hypercars of the 2010s? This is an opportunity to find out, thanks to the series organized between these three unique cars.

The Lamborghini Revuelto and the Ferrari SF90 are two of the newest hypercars in automotive production. They are also among the most efficient, thanks to their modern hybrid engines. For its part, Lamborghini has a 6.5 V12 engine, linked to the hybrid, with a total power of 1,015 horses and 1,062 Nm of torque. On the other hand, the Ferrari is equipped with a 4.0 biturbo V8 of 1,000 horses, against 800 Nm of torque. So, a small power loss for the SF90, but don’t be fooled by the technical data.

Faced with these two devilish monsters, the Carwow YouTube team decided to present the Porsche 918 Spyder. Hypercar that belonged to the famous Sainte-Trinité, at the beginning of the 2010s, but which today is not very clean. Especially in the face of two machines on the edge of technology. Under its hood hides a naturally aspirated 4.6 V8 along with 2 electric motors, producing a total of 887 horsepower with 1,280 Nm of torque. Finally, grandpa is not far behind…

Porsche 918 beaten, but far from stupid!

So we are dealing with three electric cars, whose power is close to or exceeding 1,000 horsepower. Modern automotive elite, so to speak. During the various races, the lead took shape and put the Ferrari SF90 ahead, with a time of 9.6 seconds in the quarter mile. It is closely followed by the Lamborghini Revuelto, with a time of 9.9 seconds. Porsche, despite its age, manages to keep up, covering the quarter mile in just 10.1 seconds!

Same case for the forward start tests, even if the gaps are bigger. On the other hand, the stop test was failed by Lamborghini, well ahead of Ferrari and Porsche, who finished almost closed! The 918 Spyder is truly an incredible machine!
