“For us, electrification is a big challenge and a big opportunity. But the world is moving towards electricity in a different way and, as a global luxury brand, we want to give our customers the opportunity to choose. This is why I don’t understand.” I don’t want to get involved in oil production deadlines, which can vary in different markets according to demand”, added Grasso.
The event was an opportunity to present three thematic areas dedicated to electric mobility, the Maserati Fuoriserie customization program, and Tridente, a fully electric luxury yacht designed by Vita Power. The new advertising campaign “It turns you on” starring Maneskin singer Damiano David was also scrutinized.
At the end of oil production “I don’t want to be linked to a date, the goal remains 2028. But it can vary in different markets according to demand”. As for production, the Maserati Grecale is produced in Cassino, the GranTurismo and GranCabrio in Mirafiori where the production of the Levante, Quattroporte and Ghibli ended, while the MC20 is made in Modena in the group’s historic factory.
