A Citroen C1 owner from the Netherlands boasted about its impressive mileage. He also noted that this is true ecology – he bought a car 17 years ago and has not changed it since, contributing to the protection of the planet and reducing CO2 emissions because he did not have to buy a new car. And there is something to it!
Is it more ecological to use equipment purchased for many years or to constantly replace something with a new one? The owner of a Citroen C1 from the Netherlands says that it is definitely better to use something for a long time and thus help protect the planet.

He bought his car in 2007. Despite its small size, the Citroën C1 traveled all over the Netherlands and beyond. Half a million kilometers is an impressive result for such a small car.

“I am very proud of my faithful companion, the Citroën C1. I have had it since 2007 and we traveled all over Holland together. My little biscuit tin has been a reliable friend for many years. Despite the many kilometers on the odometer, I have had to do very little maintenance so far and the engine is still original and in good condition! With an impressive 500,000 km, I can confidently say that I am contributing to sustainable development, this is true ecology!” – he wrote.
