DS 7 Crossback with 180 HP petrol engine on Italian tour. How much fuel did this luxury SUV use? | French.pl

The DS 7 Crossback is a luxury SUV from DS Automobiles. It offers good traveling conditions, a stylish interior made of high-quality materials and a range of engines from 130 to 300 HP. One of the most popular car options is the 180-horsepower gasoline.

We recently looked at how low the fuel consumption of this engine can be and the result was less than 5 liters per 100 km. Today we report on our trip from Poland to Italy. How much is the fuel consumption for a distance of almost a thousand kilometers, with four people on board and a lot of holiday luggage? What was the fuel consumption?

Italy is one of the most popular travel destinations for Poles – the wonderful Rome with its amazing monuments and the Vatican, Sicily with its warm climate, Venice – romantic and beautiful (and crowded) regardless of the season and hundreds of towns and cities worth a visit.

The journey from Krakow to Rome goes through different terrain – there are fast roads and steep terrain, there is a drive through the mountains – mainly in Austria and at the entrance to Italy. Later, flat areas dominate again. Most routes are expressways or roads.

The DS 7 Crossback drove within the limits of a certain segment, usually between 90 and 130 km/h – depending on the country. The average speed during the approximately one thousand kilometer section was 91 kilometers per hour. This was due to heavy traffic during holidays and important rest periods. In such conditions, fuel consumption was an average of 5.9 liters per 100 kilometers.

In your opinion, is this too little or too much for a car loaded with a gasoline engine?
