This is the most powerful Kia ever. The EV6 GT model has 585 hp, and accelerates to a hundred in 3.5 seconds.

It is the most powerful mass-produced Kia in history. And the EV6 GT did not achieve this thanks to a turbocharged V12 engine or a clever arrangement of rocket engines. The car is powered by two electric units. In addition, the EV6 is the first Kii model to be awarded the “Car of the Year” title.

The Kia EV6 GT has been awarded. This electric car won in the “Mid-Class Cars” category at the Auto World Moto Awards 2021. The Korean novel was also “Crossover of the Year” at the TopGear.com Awards 2021 and was awarded the title of “German Car of the Year 2022” in the “Premium” category, and “Irish Car of the Year 2022”. At the Red Dot Design Awards competition, the Kia EV6 was awarded two titles, namely: “Red Dot: Best of the Best” and “Innovative Product”.

Each axle of the Kii EV6 GT has its own engine. Front develops 218 hp, rear – 367 hp. In total, they provide about 740 Nm, which – as in electricity – are available immediately, immediately. Importantly, this charging function does not come from any size batteries. One in the Kia EV6 GT has 77.4 kWh, thanks to which the weight of the car is taken into account. The range is 424 km, and a suitable charger allows you to charge the battery from 10 to 80 percent in 18 minutes.

The two engines also offer something else: all 21” wheels. The front ones are suspended, among others thanks to discs with a diameter of 38 cm, the rear wheels are 36 cm in diameter. Shiny clamps attract your attention when you look at them. The car also received an electronically controlled differential.

The GT version has an additional driving mode. In addition to the Eco, Normal and Sport programs, the driver can also choose the GT Drive Mode, which directly affects, for example, the characteristics of both engines, the suspension, the electronically controlled shaft, and the steering, braking and stability systems. . .

Kia’s record-breaking power was demonstrated by a suggestive design. The GT version has, for example, different bumpers and suede upholstered bucket seats in front. The green and yellow accents on the dashboard still fade into the shadow of the curved jet, which turns into two 12.3-inch screens when the car is turned on. They are accompanied by headshots and augmented reality functions.

The Kia EV6 launches a new series of electric EV models. In addition, it is the first Kia to be built on the E-GMP (Electric-Global Modular Platform) architecture, designed for electricians only.

Surprisingly, this car, 469.5 cm long, 189 cm wide and 154.5 cm high, is the smallest Kia that this platform has hit. Another E-GMP model – EV9 – will debut in Europe in the second half of 2023 and will be a powerful SUV of about 5 meters with a range of about 540 km.
