The new Dacia Duster is now available in Poland. What does this cost – Hot

Two years after the facelift of the previous generation, the new – the third in history – Dacia Duster hit Polish showrooms. The car will be offered in petrol and LPG versions and, for the first time, as a hybrid. Prices in Poland start from around PLN 80,000. zlotys.

Although the new Dacia Duster can already be ordered on the manufacturer’s website, the first Romanian SUVs will be delivered to customers in the summer. A cheaper version of Muhimu with basic equipment and, importantly, an LPG car, can currently be purchased for PLN 79,900.

Twice as expensive as five years ago

This is similar to the cost of the second generation Duster recently and more or less as expected in November, when the new Dacia Duster had its world premiere. As we wrote at the time, prices for the new Duster were supposed to start below PLN 20,000. euros.

Let’s remember that when the second generation of Duster entered Polish showrooms at the beginning of 2018, the cheapest version cost PLN 39,900. After being refreshed in the summer of 2021, the price increased to PLN 49,900. Currently, to own a Dacia Duster, you have to spend at least PLN 79,900 – twice as much as in 2018, although such a large increase is a trend that affects all brands.

New Dacia Duster – price and equipment

At this price, the future owner will receive manually controlled climate control, electric front windows and heated side mirrors, rear parking sensors, cruise control, automatic headlights and basic safety systems, as well and Media Control entertainment system on board.

A car configured this way will have 16-inch rims, and you will be able to see the rails on its roof.

For the richest, second in the leadership version of Expression you will have to pay at least PLN 87.9 thousand. zlotys. In this case, the price also applies to the LPG car. In addition to the basic systems and services, the car will have electric rear windows, automatic wipers, a reversing camera and not just sensors, as well as additional functions of an entertainment system and a 10-inch display. The car will also have rims. the larger 17-inch aluminum ones, and the YouClip system in the cabinet that allows the installation of additional equipment.

Prices for the top-of-the-line Extreme and Journey gas-powered versions start at PLN 93,900. zlotys. This price also includes automatic air conditioning, power folding windows, automatic headlights, standard roof rails and keyless entry.

For a full hybrid car you will have to pay PLN 117.4 thousand. zlotys.

The new Duster will be offered in three engine variants:

• ECO-G 100 – version powered by LPG gas
• TCE 130 – a three-cylinder car with a capacity of 1.2 liters, which will actually be popular. mini hybrid (MHEV)
• Hybrid 140 – consisting of two electric motors and a 1.6-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine that will produce 140 HP

There will also be a version with a four-wheel drive and a ground clearance of 21.7 cm.

The new Dacia Duster is intended to reverse the trend of declining sales in Poland. Let’s remember that in 2023, Polish private customers and local companies registered 9,100 new dustbins – 17 percent. less than a year earlier. The strongest decrease – almost 22% year-on-year – was recorded in the case of subscriptions made by private customers only. At the same time, a few years ago, Duster was the most popular car among “Kowalskis”.
