Acura revealed what will be the path -in terms of design- that he will follow with his first 100% electric SUV. He Acura Precision EV Concept is the conceptual with which the premium brand will enter that market to 2024.

In accordance with Acurahe Precision EV “will push the boundaries of Acura design and technology”while offering “different manual and full driving automation experiences”.

The concept was created by the acura design studio in Los Angeles in order to show the future vision of electrified vehicles of the Honda brand. Based on that, the Precision EV is inspired by the luxurious Italian motor boats.

In addition, Acura will build the concept on the platform developed jointly with GMthe same with which the Japanese automaker plans to launch various electric models.

With this conceptual, Acura joins the trend of resorting to lighting as a way of flag powertrain fully electric, highlighted with lights “Particle Glitch” in the front and back. The tires that it integrates are large, of 23 inches.

Inside, the concept is inspired by a Formula 1 racing caras it has a low driving position, high performance sight lines and a modified steering wheel.

The electric SUV concept integrates two driving experiences: instinctive drive mode, which maximizes performance with red ambient lighting; and spirit modewhich does the opposite by relaxing the steering wheel and projecting an experience “underwater”.

Precision EV It is the third design concept of the luxury brand of Honda, since since 2016 it has presented its vision of a electric future.
