All the people inside were injured after the accident

Bad Schandau – On Friday evening there was a serious traffic accident on Sebnitzer Straße near Bad Schandau in which everyone involved was injured.

As the Dresden Police Department confirmed to TAG24, the accident happened around 7:50 pm on the S154 between Bad Schandau and Sebnitz.

The 21-year-old Renault driver apparently lost control of his car at the right-hand bend on the rain-soaked road and crossed into the oncoming lane.

There he collided face to face with a Ford minibus that was coming towards him. There was a 46-year-old driver in a Ford with his wife (53) and two children.

Apart from the young driver, a man (19) and a woman (20) were sitting in the Renault. All seven people inside were injured in the accident.

The Renault passenger and the Ford passenger were seriously injured. They were transported to a Dresden hospital by the rescue helicopter Christoph 62. All other people were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

To die Firefighters illuminated the scene of the accident and disconnected the battery. 37 colleagues were sent.

The total material damage is around 60,000 euros. State Road 154 was completely closed until 1 a.m. during the crash investigation and rescue work. Traffic was diverted.

To die the police is now investigating the cause of the accident. Two DEKRA staff were also on site.
