Those involved with the Chevrolet Cup in La Tuque give a very positive assessment of the weekend that has just finished. We know that several Junior AA teams crossed swords at the weekend at the Colisée Denis-Morel in La Tuque.

On average, 200 spectators per day attended various matches, including several Latuquois, which corresponds to the expectations of the organizers. We will know later the amount that will be given to small hockey. Throughout the weekend, we were able to witness the best hockey matches from these players between the ages of 18 and 21 who came from several regions of Quebec. There was no incident that went wrong over the weekend. The organizers wanted to take off their hats to forty volunteers, who stepped up their efforts to make it happen. Many restaurateurs also contributed to the success of this event.

For Alain Baribeault, a member of the organizing committee, it is a good opportunity for young people in minor hockey to see that we can continue in this game.

Chaudière-Appalaches Professional is the winner of the Chevrolet Cup in Junior AA, after a 6-1 victory over Éclaireurs du Richelieu.
