Volkswagen Up! with three wheels and 20 horses

Geparda recently released its interpretation of the Volkswagen Up! But unlike the Citroen Ami and Fiat Topolino, this super-compact city car has undergone some unusual changes. The two rear wheels are centered, giving it the appearance of a three-wheeled vehicle. And this with the aim of avoiding certain restrictions regarding the A1 license, thus giving the possibility to young people to get behind the wheel of a small car from the age of 16.

So it benefits from 4 real seats and a 999 cm3 engine, linked to a 5-speed gearbox. Despite its name meaning cheetah, this car has a capacity of only 20 horses. Nothing to get excited about but it allows it to reach 111 km/h. On the other hand, this wheeled curiosity has a price, you will have to pay 20,000 euros to get it.

Renault and Stellantis return to the Paris Motor Show

Just like BMW last week, it is Renault’s turn to announce its participation in the 2024 Paris Motor Show. The diamond brand was leading the Geneva Motor Show, avoided by the major car manufacturers, which allowed it to shine against the Chinese competition.
