According to Reuters, the total number of cars recalled is 2,700(opens in a new tab)where 2,200 are sent to Europe, 260 to the United States, 110 to Japan and 10 to Canada.

Subaru also said last week that it was recalling 2,600 of its Solterra vehicles for the same reason (the Solterra, which was co-developed with Toyota, is essentially Subaru’s version of the bZ4X).
