The Japanese manufacturer is unveiling its new Infiniti QX80, a large premium SUV that will be presented at the 2024 New York auto show.

Preceded by the Infiniti QX Monograph concept car at the 2023 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, and announced in recent weeks with several images and teaser videos, the third generation ofInfiniti QX80 finally revealed.

The first model with a new Infiniti design

This new generation of Infiniti QX80 is the first production model to adopt the brand’s new style direction. We get a new one famous grille double bow, designed with LED daytime running lights whose parts were inspired by piano keys. At the bottom, we find the main projector, which therefore creates the signature of the double-decker lights. The profile is both cleaned and carved, and pull door handles. At the back, we find an attractive trunk that is marked by a wide strip that mounts the taillights, across the entire width of the car.

Infiniti QX80: full of technology

On board, the interior inspired by Japanese culture features plenty of soft-touch accessories. The technology exists and two 14.3-inch screens : a customizable handset in front of the driver, with a central touchscreen that controls the integrated infotainment system, featuring Google technologies. A color head-up display is also available as an option, while an additional touch screen allows for climate control. Three rows of seats take up space up to 7 people on board, with heated, ventilated and massaged seats, and there’s also a 1,200 W high-quality Klipsch audio system, with 24 speakers.
Many technologies are embedded in the Infiniti QX80, such as the Front Wide View camera, the Invisible Hood View system that allows you to see “through the hood”, 360° “3D AroundView” cameras with motion detection, or even ProPilot Support System 1.1 which includes advanced driving assistance features. A electronic air suspension it allows the behavior of the vehicle to be adapted to the driving conditions, while contributing to comfort by reducing body movements.
