Letter. A 12-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy were on their way to school on Monday, April 8 around 7:35 am and were crossing the green light on Lange-Feld-Straße when a Peugeot driver hit them. The boys fell and suffered cuts and bruises.

As reported by the Seelze police, both students were wearing helmets when the accident occurred at a street light in Barua. The mud guard on the bike was cracked and the tire was damaged. This caused a damage of around 100 euros. After initial care, the boys were handed over to their legal guardians.

The 23-year-old driver admits to using marijuana

The car driven by a 23-year-old driver from Letter had a cracked windshield and right headlight. The police estimate this damage at 1000 euros. While investigating the road accident, the officers discovered that the driver was under the influence of drugs. A previous drug test was positive. The 23-year-old admitted that they had dinner together last weekend.
