Winter road conditions have caused several accidents on the A95. Near Schäftlarn, the BMW driver skidded and hit the guard rails.

Schäftlarn – A 20-year-old man from the district of Bad-Tölz-Wolfratshausen was driving in the right lane of the A95 towards Munich on Wednesday around 3:25 pm when, as the police report, he stopped at an inappropriate speed flew onto the road snow. His car first collided with the right guard rail, then turned 180 degrees and was finally thrown into the middle guard rail.

The injured driver must go to the hospital

The slightly injured driver, who was alone in the BMW, was taken to hospital by emergency services. The BMW had to be towed. There was a total economic loss of around 4,000 euros. . The damage to the right protection area is about 2,500 euros. The central rail remained undamaged.

Police calls to drivers

Because the series of accidents on the A95 continues this Thursday due to the cold road conditions, the traffic police responsible in Weilheim are asking road users to adjust their speed accordingly and possibly postpone the planned change of summer tires again.

Just a few weeks ago – also after the start of winter – there were many accidents on the A95. Near Schäftlarn, for example, a Porsche and a BMW collided in the snow. A female passenger who was slightly injured in the Porsche car was given initial medical care by the fire department who was called to the scene and later taken to the hospital by ambulance.
