Entrepreneur Stellantis Polska Sp. z o. o., based in Warsaw, informed the President of the Office for Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) that in Citroen cars, models: C3, C3 Aircross, C4, C4 Spacetourer and C5 Aircross, with DV5R E6.3 engine, may be and additional NOx emissions in the urban cycle with vehicle mileage less than 20,000 km. This can lead to non-compliance with emission regulations.

In the Polish market, the repair campaign covers a total of 283 vehicles.

The entrepreneur announced that car owners will be invited by letter to Authorized Service Centers to check the mileage of the car and, if necessary, update the engine control unit (ECU).

Information related to the campaign has been provided by Stellantis Polska Sp. z o. o. (address: Al. Krakowska 206, 02-219 Warsaw; tel. 22 458 46 73).

The Office of Competition and Consumer Protection is not able to provide detailed information to consumers about campaigns advertised and run by entrepreneurs.

This information includes the implementation of the duties of the entrepreneur, according to the role played in the business, mentioned in Art. Section 14 2, art. Section 17 2 or art. 19 part 3 of Regulation (EU) 2018/858 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 May 2018 on the approval and market surveillance of vehicles and their trailers, and systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles, amending the Regulation (EC) No. 715 /2007 and (EC) No. 595/2009 and repealing Directive 2007/46/EC (OJ EU L 151 of 14/06/2018, p. 1).

The market surveillance authority in Poland, is responsible, among others, for: monitoring repair campaigns and checking compliance with the requirements of vehicles and their equipment, according to Art. 3 part 3 of the Law of April 14, 2023 regarding approval systems for vehicles and their equipment (Journal of Laws, item 919), is the Director of Technical Management of Transportation.
