Valentin Guillod: As a top 10 rider, not yet a Motocross MXGP team/World Championship

Despite consistent top 10 results over the past two years in MXGP, Valentin Guillod has yet to receive a contract offer for next season. But the Swiss certainly want to continue.

French team SR Honda Motoblouz will compete next year with Kevin Horgmo and new signing Alberto Forato. Although Valentine Guillod has been in the top 10 for the past two years, his contract was not renewed and the Swiss has yet to find a team for next season.

Guillod plans to come up with Yamaha start. It still seems uncertain at this point whether he will be able to get the budget together to be in the starting lineup for the season opener on March 2, 2025. Guillod he is also thinking of moving to the United States if no doors are opened for him in the World Cup. “I have never worked as a work driver during my career,” he continued. He turns 32 on December 18. He can certainly think of three more years. “Look at Antonio Cairoli,” smiles Valentin. “Three years is still possible.”
