Citroen Berlingo Van is the UK’s best selling minivan

The Citroen Berlingo Van is the best-selling minivan in the UK this year, with 4,175 vehicles sold in the first quarter, according to the latest vehicle registration data published today by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).

The success of the Berlingo Van among small and medium-sized businesses and as a flagship vehicle means it was the UK’s best-selling segment, selling 14,065 units last year.

With total sales of 7,867 commercial vehicles in the first quarter of 2024 (compared to 7,568 in the first quarter of 2023), Citroën UK maintained its strong commercial vehicle sales performance from last year, when it was second only to France in terms of branding. commercial vehicle sales volume.

The new Berlingo Van is part of Citroën’s recently updated van range, which includes the Ami Cargo, Berlingo Van, Dispatch and Relay, all of which are now available to order. The entire range is available fully electric, meaning that Citroën currently offers the most complete range of electric commercial vehicles in the UK.

The new Citroen ë-Berlingo Van is manufactured at Ellesmere Port, the UK’s first mass-production factory producing purely electric vehicles. From 2025, limited production of the New ë-Dispatch will be produced in Luton, along with continued production of the combustion car. Citroën, along with its sister brand Stellantis, is the only mass-produced light car brand in the UK.

The new Citroen Berlingo Van is available in the UK from £19,255 (net), and the all-electric ë-Berlingo Van from £25,455 (net after Plug-in Van subsidy).
