Infiniti Vision Qe will be presented at the Toronto Auto Show | Car news

Infiniti will present its Vision Q electric concept as a world premiere (in the living room) at the upcoming Toronto International Auto Show. This idea was first introduced in the autumn, but this time it will not be a common thing. In fact, Auto123 will be on site in the Queen City for a guided tour of the Vision Q, in front of Alfonso Albaisa, head of global design at Nissan.

However, it is reported that the manufacturer is pushing back the end date of the production phase of the model. The reason? As the website CarScoops reports, this will “improve product competitiveness. » It is now expected that the Vision Qe concept (or whatever the production version is called) will not go into production until spring 2027.

For now, the main purpose of this new concept is to impress the visitors of the auto show and also to give a glimpse of the future design direction of the Infiniti brand, which is struggling to recover from the difficult times in recent years. The design comes in the form of a retro look with an angular front fascia and lighting units that the manufacturer describes as “digital piano keys. » The windshield flows backwards at a horizontal angle and a sloping roof. This car looks designed for speed and gives the best level of aerodynamics.

Infiniti will take the same opportunity to present the Canadian premiere of the QX Monograph concept, which will be the successor to the current QX80 when it is ready for launch. The official launch of the production model is scheduled for later this year, but visitors to the Toronto show will get a sneak peek at what is likely to be a very close production model.
