The Cadillac Escalade gets cranked up to 11 by Hennessey

How did such an inspiration come about? Hennessey quotes improved air intakes, superchargers, cylinder heads, cams, throttle bodies, and valves. It is too approved ECU. And the result is no joke.

Because now, this 2.8 ton leviathan packs a punch 850hp and 1,159Nm of torque, and no, that’s not a typo. All of that is wrapped up in a Limited run of 100 cars and backed – as usual – by a warranty of three years or 60,000 km.

Unusually, Hennessey hasn’t revealed the Cadillac Escalade-V’s 0-100 km/h time, but it said it easily outpaced the 2024 Ram TRX; The Ram does it in 4.5 seconds and travels the quarter mile in 12.3 seconds. This is too fast for a Great American Car.

“High-performance SUVs are one of my favorite types of vehicles to drive,†said John Hennessey. “Their sleep state is very different from their performance as a supercar.

“Our 850 horsepower version of the Escalade-V brings a lot of performance to this luxury full-size SUV, making the supercharged V8 engine even more powerful,†he added.
