Virena Autogroep will be Kia’s new vendor for Groningen and Assen counties from July. The company is taking over the sale from Stern, which will remain a Korean brand supplier in the North Netherlands. Companies are proving this to Cars.
Virena Autogroep, which emerged in 2020 from the merger of Van Staalduinen and Weesepoel, will operate in both locations from Assen, where it will open a branch. In time, the branch will also be opened in Groningen, an area now occupied by existing branches. Few staff members switch from Stern to Virena. Virena Autogroep is ranked 60th in the 60th Best Car Dealership category. Order an issue here.
“We are excited that we can expand our work environment,” says director Gerrit van Staalduinen. The company now has five Kia locations. “That should increase to six by Groningen. We hope to grow to two thousand new Kia every year.”
Last week Stern reported that its Hyundai business in the north-east of the Netherlands would go to Van Mossel.
