VMware and Formula 1 rigorous McLaren Racing racing have entered into a partnership agreement where VMware will provide technology to help McLaren Racing work more efficiently and thus provide better performance.
The Formula 1 season has been described as a traveling circus. Team members with different responsibilities handle the extraordinary task of moving and setting up all the necessary infrastructure to carry out their race plan. They do this more than 20 times during the season – in as many as 20 countries and 5 continents.
As the official partner of the McLaren Formula 1 team, VMware’s multi-cloud solutions will help McLaren work faster and more efficiently, wherever the team competes in the world. VMware will provide flexibility AND control over McLaren’s needs for their applications and data, and give them a competitive edge to speed up performance.
