New Dacia C-Neo: competitors include Toyota Corolla, Skoda Octavia and Volkswagen Golf. When will we see him? | French.pl

The new Dacia C-neo is slowly starting to appear, and in the meantime, Auto Express has published another image. The designer intended it to be a car that looks a little like a coupe. Although the C-Neo will actually look a little different, it should convey the idea of a competitor brand to models such as the Skoda Octavia, Toyota Corolla or even the Volkswagen Golf. The advantages of the new model will be high consumption, good price and LPG.

Dacia C-Neo is designed as a car that reaches all buyers who do not want the body of an SUV and at the same time need a larger means of transportation. If everything goes as planned, we will see a car on the border between the C and D classes. It will be bigger than the Golf or Corolla, with the dimensions of the interior and trunk similar to those offered by Skoda.

Under the hood, we can expect a choice of LPG engines, a mild hybrid and a plug-in hybrid. Interestingly, the manufacturer says that the C-Neo can be at the top of the range in terms of size, while maintaining a very reasonable price. The secret is in the use of a single platform, which means that the interior will not be wider than the current dimensions, ie about 1,810 mm, but the designers can surprise us with the length.

We should see the new model in late 2025 and in showrooms at the beginning of the first and second quarters of 2026.

The design presented by Auto Express, of course, is not the actual appearance of this car, but the author’s thoughts based on current information – items from Dacia Duster and Dacia Bigster were taken here. However, it cannot be excluded that some references to the lines of the Peugeot 408 or Citroën C5 X will appear. However, Dacia has not planned a station wagon version of this model at the moment – the role of a station wagon will be played by an SUV.

How does the brand want to compete with its competitors? These are, of course, LPG drives – the installation of factory gas is an important feature here to attract people who are looking for low operating costs, it is also a good price-performance ratio, and maybe also a 4 × 4 car and a PHEV. version. However, we have to wait a while for details. We know the recipe for success: well-known and proven features and good design at a good price.
