Ford Ennals to resign as CRA Chief Executive


Ford Annals CEO of the Radio and Audio Industry Association (CRA) – has announced his resignation, starting today.

Mr Ennals has served as CEO for two years, during which he led the restructuring of the industry organization from Commercial Radio Australia to Commercial Radio & Audio.

He also supervised the launch of Radio 360the industry’s new audience measurement system that provided the most robust audience listening data.

The CRA represents 260 commercial radio stations across Australia, including members Australian Radio Network (ARN), SCA, NOVA Entertainment, Radio Nine and ACE Radio Broadcasters.

CRA Board Chair Ciaran Davis thanked Mr. Ennals for his leadership of CRA, saying “Ford has made a great contribution during his time with CRA. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”

Mr Ennals says “I have had the opportunity to lead the CRA successfully through an important transition period. I extend my thanks to the CRA team and our members. I am confident that the radio and commercial audio industry is well positioned for future growth and success.”

Mr Davis confirmed that Jo Dick, CRA Chief Commercial Officer will manage that role while the Board conducts a search for a new CEO.
