Speaking of camping season: Tonke wants to introduce a pop-up roof this year – if you combine a large double bed in the back area with a new pop-up roof, you’ve got an identity. If you look at the market for camper vans, comparatively few of them have ID. The buzz was there – which could be due to a combination of the high entry price and the minimum mileage of 350 km per coach. So it is positive to see that Tonke is giving his thoughts to a new electric version of the cult car. The future looks bright: with more space, more variety and a pop-up roof.
