Volkswagen do Brasil has just announced the GTS 2023 version of the Polo, the sportiest and most complete version of the compact.
This model receives a front end with more technology, such as the use of Matrix LED IQ.Light lamps. In addition, it receives a DRL lamp (Daytime Running Lights) on the front line of the grille, as it happens on the Taos SUV.
At the rear, it receives new bumpers with a more attractive air diffuser, painted details and dual exhaust tips. The GTS badge is centered below the new Volkswagen logo. The lights have a unique LED signature for this version.
Completing the exterior, the GTS features unique foil, piano black mirrors and 18-inch black wheels with a diamond finish, along with the famous “Snow Flake” wheels from the regular Passat GTS Pointer.
Inside, the Polo GTS brings some news. Among them, a new steering wheel, a new shift knob, a wireless charger for smartphones and USB-C inputs (two in the front and two for the back seat), as well as a dark sound that dominates the passenger compartment. In addition, it has a 10.1-inch VW Play multimedia center with reversing camera and Climatronic Touch digital climate control. In addition to four airbags, front and rear parking sensors, rain and dusk sensors, fatigue detector, push-button start, automatic high beam and electronic differential lock.
The model comes with the familiar 250 TSI 1.4-liter turbocharged engine, with a power of 150 hp and 25.5 kgfm of torque, already available at 1,500 rpm. The kit is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with a torque converter that has a manual mode via the shift knob or using the paddles behind the steering wheel. The engine completes 0 to 100 km / h in 8.3 seconds and reaches 206 km / h.
The new Polo GTS comes with five color options available: Solid Ninja Black and Crystal White; metals Platinum Gray and Sirius Silver; and Red Sunset special.
Its price starts at R$ 145,790, it is important to note that this price is promotional and valid until February 28.
