Volkswagen Golf 2024, attractive launch price in Spain: what will happen in Italy?

The Media Center of Volkswagen Spain has announced that the new Golf with 85 kW/115 hp 1.5 TSI engine is available in the country. starting from 25,480 euros, in the MÀS version (which should be our Plus version, which saves up to 5,800 euros) from 27,960 euros with a rich content package. Which seems much lower than ours, in fact in Italy the Golf 8 still starts at 29,600 euros, but there is a reason …

Offer is valid and MyWay Package, a 5-year contract covering 10,000 kilometers per year. At the end of the contract, the user can change the car by renewing the contract, returning it or keeping it, paying a lower guaranteed value. This is not a rental as maintenance and insurance are the customer’s responsibility, unless you pay an optional extra.

If you look at the official price list, the new Golf 2024 1.5 TSI 115 HP it starts from 27,850 euros in Spain, so we still have a lower figure than the basic Italian one (of 29,600 euros, related among other things to the Golf 8 with the 1.0 110 HP engine, so let’s hope that Volkswagen will adjust the price below with the new version). For the record, the new Golf is offered – again in Spain – with the 1.5 eTSI 115 HP DSG-7 engine from 29,560 euros, with variants of 50th Anniversarystarting from 35,785.

Also on the list is the Variant version, and Carrozzeria Station Wagon: in this case the price starts from 29,130 ​​euros for the fuel version and 30,975 euros for the hybrid. At the top of the range is the Variant Model 1.5 eTSI 150 HP DSG-7 for 38,210 euros, the most expensive model in the 2024 price list in Spain among those available at launch. Now we just have to wait for Italian prices.
