Mini-Me Market third edition | All news from Dijk en Waard

Everything is becoming more expensive, everyone can now feel it. Supply and demand are brought together in the Mini-Me Market. In this way, clothes, toys and books end up with children who can still find them useful. Fortunately, sustainability is a high priority for more and more people. (Sell) buy unused children’s clothes and give them a second life. Good for the environment and also gives good pocket money, so a win-win situation.

The third edition of the Mini-Me Market will be held at Dorpshuis de Geist, located on Vinkenlaan in Sint Pancras, from 10am to 1pm. In addition to the second-hand version, there are also some local entrepreneurs with their (mostly) handmade items.

The Forgotten Child

The entrance fee is 2 euros per person (children up to 12 years free). A portion of the admission proceeds will be donated to Het Vergeten Kind. Thousands of children in the Netherlands can no longer live at home. For example, they have been neglected or abused, have fled violence or been removed from their homes. This pain leaves deep scars. It makes them insecure, afraid and angry. The Forgotten Child is dedicated to these children.

Playing with face painting

Bring the kids along, they can get their faces painted for free and follow dance clinics with dance teacher Marise, from Fit Dance Joy. (depending on the weather).

Fresh apple pie

Did you know that there is a ‘special’ bakery in Dorpshuis de Geist? De Waerden’s customers bake the most delicious cakes here. Enjoy a delicious slice of fresh apple pie after shopping!
