three new models of the BYD off-road brand

BYD launched its new brand last year Fang Cheng Bao, dedicated to the world of off-road and off-road vehicles. The first model, called Bao 5, exceeded 20,000 units sold in China, while now three more cars have been presented: two concepts Super 3 and Super 9 and new Score 8.

La Bao 8

Let’s start with the last one, since it is the only production car already. It’s about The flagship SUV of the brand, which will therefore be in a higher segment than the Goal 5. Based on BYD’s DMO platform, it features a three-row seating arrangement and will feature BYD’s Disus-P suspension system. There are no technical details yet, but it will likely be a plug-in hybrid model, costing around $69,000.

Following this trend, a new compact SUV will also arrive to join the range. It’s about Super 3 which, once it arrives in the production version, will be called Bao 3. With a different design, a little like a spaceship, with dashed lines, big tires and high ground clearance. It has hidden door handles and electronic rear view mirrors. We are talking about a cost of around 27,000 dollars.

The third and final novel is Super 9 concept and, despite the soul of the brand, it is a great convertible. The latter, however, appears to have been intended to remain a fashion exercise and never enter production. Although no confirmation has been received from the Chinese manufacturer on this matter.
