The Kia EV5 is coming and it should be a successful electric car

The Kia EV5 is on the way and will arrive in 2024. Expectations are high as things get going in the summer. The magazine reports that Kia has three versions planned for launch in June, starting with “Air” and “Earth”.

Based on that, Kia would like to undercut even the affordable Tesla Model Y and thus attack the world’s most successful car in 2023. A GT version is also planned and will look slightly different, but this will not come until Q4 2024.

The Kia EV5 has “a lot of potential” for the brand

The Kia EV5 was presented last summer, but final details and German prices are still missing. Kia would like to offer an electric SUV with 64 kWh and once with 88 kWh and expects the EV5 to have “a lot of capacity”.

After the Kia EV6 and Kia EV9, the Kia EV5 is set to become the brand’s best seller, believing it “has the right product”. It’s an electric car for the masses and, especially in China, they want to keep up with BYD and Tesla.

By the way, the Kia EV5 also uses E-GMP as a platform, but in a 400 volt version so that the electric car can be produced cheaper than the EV6. I look forward to the final details for us, this could be an interesting car.
