The Lamborghini Huracan STJ is the ultimate

The day has finally arrived. After selling twenty thousand units in the last ten years, the end has come for the Lamborghini Huracan. The brand is saying goodbye to the V10 with one final release. The Lamborghini Huracán STJ is based on the rear-wheel-drive STO, but it gets additional sporty accessories. Lambo only makes ten copies.

What is not immediately apparent about the Lamborghini Huracán STJ is that the body materials have been slightly modified. The front bumper has been given a more aggressive front splitter and duck on the ends of the bumper. The rear wing has been modified by three degrees more, which, according to Lamborghini, provides ten percent more power than the Lamborghini Huracán STO.

Not only is the STJ visually modified, but they also don’t leave a ten-year-old model alone under the skin. A set of racing shock absorbers ensures that the car can be fine-tuned to the driver’s wishes. The 20-inch rims are shod with new Bridgestone Potenza tires for added grip. For quick pit stops (and style points), the rims have a central wheel nut.

Nothing happened to the 5.2-liter V10, and yet the Lamborghini Huracán STJ should be faster on the track than the STO. On the Nardo circuit STJ is more than a second faster than STO. Power is 640 hp and 565 Nm. Power goes to the rear wheels and a dual-clutch automatic transmission shifts it for you.

The Lamborghini Huracán STJ says goodbye to the V10

Saying goodbye to the Audi R8 was already a sign of the past for the Lamborghini Huracan. Audi shares the V10 with the Italian supercar. According to rumors, the successor of the Huracán will have a V8 engine and a hybrid part, so it seems that the Volkswagen Group will finally say goodbye to the V10 engine. And that is a great shame.
