What do you think about the Infiniti QX80?

I own a 2017 Nissan Pathfinder and would like more luxury and space in my next car. I have eyes onInfiniti QX80 2022. What do you think; what do you think

Hello Armand

In fact, from a Pathfinder with the QX80, you get more luxury and space. The Pathfinder belongs to the category of three-row mid-size sports utility vehicles while the QX80, which is no more and no less than a. Armada of high quality, it is a full-size SUV.

Derived from the internationally sold Nissan Patrol, the QX80 is a true truck built on a ladder chassis. Despite this, we found it very good overall during our test this spring.

Although it’s powered by a 5.6L V8 engine that develops 400 horsepower, fuel consumption isn’t smart compared to the competition. At the end of our test, the on-board computer showed a consumption of 15.6 L/100 km for a total distance of 400 km. Indeed, this rating is high, but it is within the standards of the segment.

However, what we didn’t like about the car was its completely outdated presentation. Indeed, although it benefited from a slight update in 2018, its design dates back to 2011. Eleven years is a very long time in the automotive industry.

With an entry price of around $85,000, the QX80 is a profitable car for the manufacturer, you guessed it, since the costs associated with its development have been recouped over a long period of time. On the other hand, this is not a car put forward by Infiniti.

That being said, if we had a budget of around $85,000 for this type of SUV, the QX80 would be left off the list.

For that amount, one can get their hands on a Chevrolet Tahoe in its High Country or Premier versions. We believe this is the wisest choice. Tahoe, plus Suburban, GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade they are recently updated and their proposition is attractive and persuasive.
