Subaru: What does 2024 have in store for us?

In Belgium, Subaru is a regular player in the market. The Japanese manufacturer’s priorities lie elsewhere. But nevertheless, the brand offers interesting models here. The most “popular” until recently was the XV, which has just changed its name. This compact crossover is now called Crosstrek. Subaru took the opportunity to retouch it and improve it more than its familiar styling would suggest. Comfort, handling, connectivity, security and quality of equipment: everything has improved. Meanwhile, the all-wheel drive Crosstrek retained its excellent off-road capabilities. Few crossovers are capable of such performance in this area.

A nod to the rally

The new models will not arrive in Europe immediately. But we still get the all-electric Forester, Outback and Solterra on the list. At the Tokyo Motor Show, Subaru presented a taste of what could be coming with its Sport Mobility Concept. This electric concept car included a whole series of nods to the brand’s rich past in the collection, even if there are probably no real plans for new activities in motorsport. At the end of last year, Subaru surprised with Safe8, a new warranty program that offers eight years of service with no mileage restrictions.
