the final version will have a V8 under the hood

For the latest version of the Wrangler, Jeep puts a V8 under the hood. Obviously, this version is reserved for America!

The fighter will bow. But in style! Indeed, Jeep has just launched the “swan song” for the American commuter. This one has a Hemi V8 engine. For its final year, Jeep will say goodbye to the model with the Wrangler Rubicon 392 Final Edition. Only 3,700 lucky (and wealthy) owners will be able to get their hands on one of the copies.

All the best

Be careful, getting such a model comes at a price. The special edition is priced at $99,995. That’s a lot of money, but compared to the cost of a V8-powered cruiser in Europe, it seems ‘cheap’. Overall, the new model will offer owners more standard equipment than the base models.
We’re especially thinking about the design included in this final version on the hood and air intakes. But also a hood with ventilation and a special monogram on the gear lever. Inside, this Wrangler features black Nappa leather-trimmed seats with gold stitching.
On the outside, there are also 17-inch bronze wheels and 35-inch BF Goodrich all-terrain tires. These wheels are compatible with a special crossover made by Mopar.
But also with a special suspension system. It’s enough to give it impressive all-terrain performance. Thanks to this device, The Wrangler Rubicon 392 Ultimate Edition benefits from a ground clearance of 41.6 centimeters. Like other versions, this special version can cross bridges with a depth of 87.6 cm.

A true announcer, but last

The attractive Mopar grille is combined with a cowl bar that helps protect the SUV from damage it may suffer when leaving the trail. If the Wrangler gets stuck where its big V8 engine can’t pull it out, the Ultimate Edition model also features a Warn winch capable of towing up to 3,630kg.
However, the V8 engine should be able to get you out of most situations. The 6.4-liter Hemi V8 develops 477 horsepower and 640 Nm of torque. Which is enough to allow the Wrangler Rubicon 392 to reach 100 kilometers per hour in just 4.5 seconds.
Even better, Jeep claims it can reach the quarter mile in just 13 seconds flat. Not bad for a broadcaster of its kind. The high gear ratio, torque converter locking system and other such technologies also allow it to go up and down steep slopes.
“The Jeep Wrangler 392 remains at the top of the mountain in overall performance, power and unmatched capability,” said Bill Peffer, Senior Vice President of Jeep Brand – North America. “These are the game-changing features our Jeep enthusiasts have been asking for.”.

Jeep plans to allocate 3,300 models of the Final Edition Wrangler Rubicon 392 to US customers. Only 300 Canadians will be able to take advantage of it, leaving just 100 for the rest of the world. If the $100,000 price tag doesn’t deter you, don’t even think about making a deal like this in France. Destruction.
